The Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence’s social-emotional curriculum, implemented from 2022-2023, promotes the recognition and management of emotions in both students and teachers. This evidence-based approach integrates social and emotional learning to foster holistic development while creating an optimal learning environment. Teachers play a key role in this training, strengthening bonds within the school community and promoting an environment of collaboration, empathy and emotional satisfaction that benefits the entire educational community.

At CSFR we implement RULER so that the model is actively integrated into school life. Through the Emotional Agreement, we promote an environment of respect, defining how they want to feel at school and how to act in the face of conflicts. With the Emotional Meter, the girls identify and classify their emotions according to their energy and level of liking, encouraging self-regulation. The Meta-Moment teaches them to reflect, calm down and respond thoughtfully to intense emotions. Finally, using the Conflict Resolution Plane we develop empathy and understanding, promoting collaborative solutions and healthy relationships.

Seeks to get the students to agree on the emotions they want to feel. Answers three questions: How do we want to feel? How do we act to achieve it? How do we prevent conflicts?

A tool for reflection on destructive feelings. In this way, each student will learn to calm down and regain control in order to reflect.
