One of our main axes is bilingual education, where from early childhood students acquire outstanding academic and communicative competencies in the four skills that are consolidated through the different grades, leading 12th grade students to reach a proficiency level between B2 and C1.
The English curriculum is based on the CCSS ELA (Common Core Standards in Language Arts).
The learning of French begins as a third language in 5th grade and continues through 12th grade. During this process, students acquire progressive language skills, reaching a level equivalent to A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
This approach is reinforced by the preparation and presentation of the DELF Junior exam, which certifies language proficiency and opens doors to new academic and cultural opportunities.
Begin learning English, exploring language skills through meaningful experiences. They are exposed to the language to build vocabulary and develop phonological awareness, promoting communication and literacy.
Students understand and produce oral and written communication about everyday experiences. Upon completion, they apply basic language conventions, expand their vocabulary, and comprehend age-appropriate literary texts.
At this stage, emphasis is placed on argumentative discourse, using complex conventions and reading and writing strategies. At the end of high school, students develop a critical attitude and reach the expected level of linguistic proficiency.
The learning of English and French is progressive and adapted to each stage. From early childhood, active and experiential methods are used to integrate the four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). Each student progresses at his or her own pace, reaching high levels of proficiency by the end of high school.
In addition to the language, knowledge of the associated cultures is promoted, preparing students for a globalized world.
